Learning is a lifelong endeavor. Learning is not necessarily reading and studying, but using opportunities and events of life to grow. Reading and studying are important, but just not all there is to learning. With summer approaching, learning must continue for ALL stakeholders. In our community, there are opportunities for this to happen. The Mid-Continent Public Library offers a reading program to earn prizes. The Library also offers opportunities for teens to gather there and share learning and reading. Please take your child to our Library to find learning opportunities for the summer. Students loose motivation and learning during the summer and by participating in these types of activities, it will help. The Library is not the only place to look for summer learning opportunities. It is important to keep the mind working!
